Step 1: The variable stell_v1 is recoded (0=0) (1=11) (2=13) (3=20) (4=24) (5=27) (6=30) (7=35) (8=40) (9=25) (10=60) (11=70) (12=22) (13=12) (99=-1) for the years 1998 to 2011 and subsequently integrated into the harmonized variable stell_h. Step 2: The variable stell_h is replaced by the variable stell_v2 for the years 2012 to 2020 and 2022. Step 3: The variable stell_v3 is recoded (1=11) (2=13) (3=20) (4=30) (5=40) (6=64) (7=70) for the year 2022 and subsequently integrated into the harmonized variable stell_h, if stell_v2 is not included in that version of the questionnaire or stell_v2 is 99.
