Step 2: The variable pli0012_h is replaced with pli0012_v1 for the year 1990, if pli0012_v1 is greater than 0 and pli0012_v2 is less than 0. Step 3: The variable pli0012_h is replaced with pli0012_v2 for the year 1990, if pli0012_v2 is greater than 0 and pli0012_v1 is greater than 0. Step 4: The variables pli0012_v2 and pli0012_v1 are added and then divided by 2 in order to create a mean and subsequently integrated into the harmonized variable pli0012_h for the year 1990, if pli0012_v2 is greater than 0 and pli0012_v1 is greater than 0.
